  • DBAX: Sorry, it's Murano, not the Quest. Anyhow, it's a 14" blade. The X' is only 12" so we gain 1" on either side.. 14b should be under $12.

Would this be considered more of a Family oriented weekend or more towards the solo riders?

I want to see if it would be wise to bring my wife n 2yr old son. I can speak for about 2 more rigs wanting to attend. This would be my first time trail running in AZ.

Yes, it will be a family friendly event. We try to make all events family friendly.

I'm 99% on attending.  I do have to travel during the week prior for work so as long as there are no hiccups that week, I'm in.

Also, any concerns if I drop mention of the trip on the Nissan Pathfinders Off Road Assoc (NPORA) forum that I frequent?  It's mainly G1/G2 Pathfinders.  If that's ok, what's the best thread or page URL to refer them to for more info?

With the soon to be new members of Arizona Arizona OHV Ambassadors, some of them may want to get their projects on. We're hoping that we can all help out a little bit on the trails during this weekend.

There is a potential project need while we are visiting the area, let us know if you guys are ok helping since some rigs may not be able to access the trail. We will get specifics once the group can commit.

Potential BLM OHV Project - Every year our office inventories the trail to ensure that our fiberglass markers are in tact after the monsoon season. The work consists of utilizing a map of the trail segment (usually through Avenza Maps) to ensure that each of our fiberglass markers are up. If they are not up, we replace them on the spot. If your club would be interested in the project please let me know...

Who's in?! #OHVAmbassadors

Hi all,

First post on the AZ forum - I'm jealous that you all live in my favorite state - have traveled over most it but this will be my first time wheeling in an XTerra there.
Please add me to the definite-maybe list or the 80% list, whichever is easier. Got to see how my new roof progresses and they aren't starting for at least a month.

What comm's do you guys use? HAM, CB?
Will I need to bring extra gas with me?
Sleeping - guessing it's only tents and no hammock tie-up spaces?

Thanks,
Richard

Sleeping will be first come first serve and more then welcome to leave your setup at the camp. The campsite is perfect for hammock setup plenty of pine trees.

No extra gas is needed camp ground and trails are near town.

You can change my definite maybe to an overwhelming HELL YA I'M IN.  I'll be out on Thursday so I can see family in Havasu.  Is somebody besides Avi in charge of marker signs this time?  I don't want to spend another four hours looking for the right camp site again.  ;D

I think someone was just unprepared to mark the camp site, but this event camp is on the map so should not need much marking.
