Desert Fanatics Veterans Flag Run November 5
« on: October 02, 2017, 04:21:20 PM »
The annual Desert Fanatics Veterans Flag Run is here again.

November 5th and it appears to be starting at Westgate this year. I will add more info as it comes out.

Welcome to our 4th Annual Veteran's Flag Run! We're pleased to announced that WestGate has stepped up as this year's host. If you haven't joined before, PLEASE read through this! If you have... STILL READ THIS!

Join us for a rally around the city with ol' glory! Mount a flag to your truck and meet at Westgate early Sunday morning, Nov 5th on the West Lot (will be marked). We always kick off the morning with a short brief and the National Anthem. The route starts at Westgate and will head North on the 101 around to the I 17 South, to I 10 West, back to the 101 North, and off at Maryland Ave back over to West Gate (East lot). When the run is over that's when we kick off the charity event. We will have vendors set up with plenty of vehicles for you to check out, along with awesome raffle prizes. This year's charity is Service Dog Fund, Corp. a non-profit organization who uses donations for IN HOME service dog training for Veterans. Cost for joining the run is a $5 donation which will get you a raffle ticket the 4th Annual Flag Run sticker for your vehicle. We've been hard at work getting things set up for the biggest flag run event yet!. We'll be getting a form put back up on our website like last year for you guys to apply as a vendor/donation VERY SOON.

I'd like to go, but I'll need more information first so that I can see if I have the day off or to take it off
