Here's something I thought might get some conversation going. Who here rides Bikes?
Here's my mountain bike, a GT Peace 9r Multi:

I love this thing, it's a hard tail which makes getting to work on Tucson roads a little numbing at times, but the 29" wheels roll over everything!

There are some scrapes on it... the one on the right grip is pretty recent. I biffed the curb getting around an old lady who was crossing without looking and I got bucked off. More embarrassing than anything.

I love how it matches my X so well. They're about the same silver with black details. Now that I've bedlined the plastics on my X, I should consider bedlining the scrapes on the bike to cover them up lol!

Whenever I go on a biking trip it seems my X is the hauler. Here it is loaded down with all of my friend's bikes too.

I seriously need some roof rack mounts if I'm going to be carrying this many bikes. I've got some scratches in the paint on my roof from the pedals sliding around up there.

I also have a black Schwinn Frontier MTB that's kind of like my spare bike or my loaner bike when people come to visit. I was hoping to get that one in red so it would match my Nissan Frontier, no love though, they were out of that color by the time I went to buy it ;D I'll have to get some pics of it sometime too.

Dude that was so funny when I saw the picture of you being the bike hauler. It reminded me of all the trucks from Mexico driving on the highway to Nogi.

I still ride an old KHS 26er 9speed (rear shift only). Just went riding yesterday at Usery Mountain Park in Mesa, AZ.

Here's how I load it in the X.

It seriously does! I never expected to have to haul 5 bikes at the same time before, so every time we do that, which seems to be about twice a week during the summer, I end up tying all the bikes down with bugie ties real ghetto like ;D That does it, I gotta get a rack with some bike stands now.
I still love your bike mount Michael! For one or two bikes that's pretty much ideal ;D

Ya I used to ride a lot when I lived in NYC. I had the early Trek hard tail with front suspension. We used to go to Killington or Stratton ski resorts in the summer and take the ski lifts up and ride down. Fast and scary but oh what fun broke my arm doing once didn't know till a day later. I'm trying to get into it again but my wife doesn't know how to ride a bike and nor does my little one. Some day ho hummmm.

I have been riding mtb bikes for years. I started out about 15 years ago riding cross country but graduated into racing downhill for a couple of years. Then I got out of it for a while and just this last year got back into it again.
Here are my bikes. The Mtb is a 2012 Specialized Stumpy FSR 29er. I love it! I don't ride it much in the winter though, as you can see my 05 450x takes precedent when the weather is cooler. I really only ride the mtb when it's too hot to put the mx gear on.

Both of those are awesome bikes, glad I'm not the only 9r here ;D

I love the 29er, I'm 6'4 and this is the 1st XC bike I have had that doesn't look like a circus bike. Looks preportional with the larger wheels, and I love how much easier it rolls over rocks. Just makes sense for someone like me!
