Hello everyone. I'm PitSnipe or Kyle if you like. Bought my X new in 2007 for my wife as her daily driver. In February 2013 we bought a new car for her and now the X is mine. I couldn't be happier. So now the journey begins.

Great looking truck ;D

33s and HIDs are pretty sweet. Get a lift kit and it'll be good to go for a while ;D

285s are about the biggest you can go, even with a lift, unless you are willing to do some trimming.
Title: Re: PitSnipe's X
Post by: Slapshotking09 on April 25, 2013, 09:16:01 PM
Unless you do a Body Lift, 285 is the biggest

Post by: 11Pro4X on April 26, 2013, 08:42:31 AM
You do bigger tires without a BL just trim the fenders like Hammer said.

Its easy when you have a lift. Also plan on stealthing tge bumper while its off. Maybe the headlamp black out too.

Post by: remo1991(Brent) on May 22, 2013, 06:59:09 PM
in AZ everyone suggests you use a additional cooling fan or bigger cooler. When off roading not much air passes over the trans cooler but your trans is working its ass off.

Add the fan as well!  I was running in Moab without the fan and the trans temp got up high and the truck went into limp mode. After adding the fan the temp never got above 160!

ADD THE FAN if you do the bypass and add a second cooler.

eff it add both haha, jk jk. you could though.

You do not have to add a fan then. You can but I don't see why since you added the cooler.
