I'll be driving back from Moab that day, otherwise, I would have joined you.  Smiley Rock is a good trail for a properly equipped vehicle.

I'd be down on a weekend in the PHX area to meet up. Our X is stock though.

I did not watch the whole video, it made my head hurt. I figure if the Zuks can do my stock X can surely do it. Either way, just realized this was Prescott/Jerome. It's a bit furthat than I want to drive that weekend. Sorry

From what I've heard, don't think you wanna take a stock truck up there without some skids and sliders.

from my understanding you are correct rosie...sunflower mine could have the potential for a lot of body and undercarriage damage with a stock vehicle.  For the most part the trail is doable but the rock garden portion to the smiley rock is the challenge.

Had a guy up in flagstaff try smiley rock in a stock vehicle and totaled his driveshaft.

But as James May put it, they're plucky and make it to the end even when a Land Cruiser won't ;D

So since no other trucks are going I am most likely going to day trip from Prescott to Sedona and run Broken Arrow.   Pink Jeeps be derned.   Have a good Memorial Weekend
