Title: Bull Springs Rd. 08/25
Post by: timh on August 06, 2013, 08:49:29 PM
Been talking about scheduling this run for a while now and its time to do something about it.

Bull Springs Rd is a 4wd trail that runs from Amado to Patagonia. The trail is rocky but passable in any stock 4x4. The area down south has had a huge amount of rain this year and is incredibly green, not to mention the already scenic Santa Rita Mtns.

We will meet at the convenience store in Amado at 10:00am. I will post up directions later.

Every Tucson member better make this one!!!:P

It will take maybe 3 or 4 hours depending on how long we stop each time. There are no major obstacles on this trail unless the monsoons have washed anything out. I have done it many times and there has never been any real obstacles to speak of. Just a fun scenic trail.

Yep, still planning on it. Since there wasnt much response on here I invited some more people. I think we should have a few rigs either way.

Bummer I won't be in town. I'll be sitting by the Clackamas River in Oregon with a fishin pole and a beer. Darn... ;)

After I get back I gotta run down to the Patagonia mountains a couple times to scout for my deer hunt so of anybody wants to get a day run, a few easy trails, some hiking, and some glassing in let me know!
