Title: Fuel rail service port 1st gen
Post by: AzWhite01 on April 01, 2014, 01:25:19 PM
Does anyone know where a fuel rail service port on a 1st gen? I think I may have a clogged fuel rail which is causing it to misfire and throw a code.

Usually there is a schrader valve near the injectors to check pressure.  Silly question, have you replaced the fuel filter?

Was replaced about 4k ago. I read a forum where a guy was having similar symptoms and it was a dirty fuel filter that allowed slug to get passed it and into the fuel rail. Replaced filter and blew out the rail and it fixed the problem, now I do have a new filter but the motor is used and can be in any condition.
