Well she still isn't on her own weight yet but getting slowly closer to that step.

The trans mount is finished and painted and put back into place. Should be good won't know till I get that front drive shaft made.

So I ended up taking the axles and transfer case to a shop to have them rebuild cause it was taking way too long for me to do them. But the transfer case came back the other and it's in the X now.

So the X is on her own weight once again. I got the rear axle back from the axle shop on Friday and put in under the X. Next is to finish the brakes and steering. Also get the drive shafts made. I'm hoping to be back on the road by mid Feb.

How high are you sitting? That looks ridicules and it looks like you could fit 38"s.

So it moves under her power. A few issues still. But that's expected. Next test drive is planned to be next Friday.

That looks so sweet. How do you think it will handle on the road.
Title: Re:
Post by: deadpilot on May 11, 2015, 03:40:31 PM
The 1st test drive this pass Saturday it handled pretty good for not being aligned. Steering was a bit of a fight but I think that's cause it's not aligned. But it handled the road just fine. A little more body roll but then again that's expected lol.

So I now have a front a rear drive shaft so that makes me a 4x4 finally. The project is almost coming to a close. A few more weeks
