Title: Saddle Mountian
Post by: PitSnipe (Kyle) on December 15, 2016, 01:46:42 PM
Location Salome Hwy (South of the I10 in Tonopah)
Rating: 2.0
Vehicle Requirements: 4x4 with ground clearance
Approximately 15 Miles.

I10 west to Tonopah. Exit on Wintersburg Rd/383rd Ave south.
From Wintersburg Rd turn west on the Salome Hwy.
Head west on the Salome Hwy about 9 miles. Trail will be on your left and you cant miss the mountain.

This is pretty close to I-10, about 60 miles west of Phoenix. Some of the best views I've seen inside the horseshoe of Saddle Mountain (near the end of the trip)....
The western side is pretty rocky so slow goes it. Other than its a pretty easy trail.

I've don't this trail twice now and still so much to explore if you get out and hike.
