Hey, I didn't know you had a locker in that CJ  :P

I'd like to go, but probably won't since it'll be my last weekend of prep before my journey to wheeling Mecca.  ;)

We'll see though, if I can get everything done, I'll be there.

Fixed it for ya.  This is a short run Tim.  It won't take all day.

It is off of the Table Mesa Road.  My friend, Bill, will be leading.

^^^you got friends???  :D What's he charging you?  :P

Ted, I would rate GP at about a 2.5 for a moderately built IFS truck, FWIW. There is some fun hill climbs & descents, not much slo 'n lo boulder crawling. I know of stock TJ's and JK's have done it - non-Rubicon models.

I'll try to make it. It'd be fun to 'crawl' over a CJ.  ;D  :D

Yeah, I think I know the area you are referring to.  From Table Mesa, I've headed northeast to Moore's Gulch, and then crossed under I-17 as I headed east.  There are trails to the north and to the east from there.  The ones headed north follow the pipeline.

Scenic stuff that is fun, but not too technical.

Just talked to the guy leading he said that is the trail but plans to take a different offshoot to make a bit more challenging.

Yeah, if you keep heading east after crossing under I-17, you will eventually come upon an old windmill (for pumping water).  Not too far after the windmill, the trail bends to the north, crosses a wash, and then starts to climb a nice rocky hill.
This trail goes north for almost 10 miles, and there are a few gates.  That trail is more of a challenge (but still totally doable) than the pipeline trail.

I wish I could go on this run, but I've got a prior commitment.

Due to unforseen circumstances this offroading trip has been cancelled. Please take note that the leader of the trip and myself will not be able to make the trip.  Thank you for the interest and have a great weekend. :-\ :'(
