  • Conundrum: lol, they're contagious and more lights coming on, worrying to see the oil pressure indicator and also the windshield washer fluid lights, however I'll just wait and see if it goes away when things dry out. Good thing I took it through emissions this morning. Never Fails. lol

  • Conundrum: Wow, with all the rain I've been in as well as flooding in the X on Fat Tire, I have a new issue. Set light blinking rapidly and goes away after restarting the engine. I did a little research and I guess the cruise actuator can get nasty and seems plausible since I went through a puddle on purpose on the right hand side and that made the set light for cruise start flashing again. I'll check it out after the rain stops. lol Have fun and be safe out there everyone.

All I know is that they are coming from bilstein and are the adjustable ranging from between .5-2.0 worth of lift to being the front end flush with the rear? What I'm wondering is if I kick em to 2" is that going to cause the front to sit higher than the rear? If that happens I'll have to order the adjustable rear shackles from shrockworks or calmini to balance it out. So far these are the only thing I've found to raise the truck without breaking the budget right now. The only other set I've heard of is the 6" suspension from Rough Country that is compatable with the 2nd gen Pro4x. I noticed theres another member here that has a reddish fronty that hes modified into an overland rig. I love to wheel and would like to take my boys wheeling/camping without having to worry about ground clearance too much.
On a side note, I recently met up with a group out here in Az phoenix/Mesa that were all running Wranglers with 35"-37" tires 3.5-4.5 suspension lifts, locked and geared within 4.56 to 5.13's on top of a 4:1 Crawl ratio. The trail was called Willow springs rated at between 4.5-8.5 on the rating scale. Had a great time but I had to park my truck and ride along after the first 1.5 miles in on a 3 mile trail. The trail goes much further up to willow springs lake/campground but is all buggy territory after the 3 mile mark I'd realistically like to do a 3.5 suspension on 33's or 35's with sliders and upgraded skids. Heres a couple pics of the rigs that day. The pic in the middle is a rock garden looks completely impassable but these rigs made look like a walk in the park.

After talking with a buddy, he referred me to Desert Rat Industries off of 19th ave again. And mentioned Snap financing which is based off of income vrs credit scores. I went online to snap financing, applied, and I was approved for 630 bux. So desert rat is quoting 603 for a set of Bilstien adjustable shocks in the front allowing for approx 1 - 2" of lift to level the front end, next is to remove the mud flaps which appear to making contact with my 265/75/16's. I'm not sure how to remove the front valance on the underside of nose of the truck. It look like it's all one. Anyone familiar?

Those are your main websites that will help you.

As for shops you can talk with the guys at Sierra expeditions as they are pretty knowledged at proper lifts and alignments.

Dig around on remo's links above and the below link too. I have ordered from all three and running shrock skids. Hefty fabworks came out with aluminum armor a couple years ago. If you order from someone and they are not a manurfacturer they drop ship, so shipping times on suspension may vary.
