  • jcm45: Hi everyone, I just joined up here and am looking for some advice. Anyone have a shop they recommend for their Xterra? I just purchased an 02 and discovered the seller managed to cover up a thrown rod so likely need a new engine. I've called a few shops and most seem to not be overly familiar with them. I don't want someone inexperienced potentially doing something wrong or milking the labor. Can anyone recommend a shop that's had this done before?

It wasn’t hard at all. I just ran into some problems getting a stripped drain plug out. Are you thinking about getting one?

Yeah, but I need to start saving monies and collecting parts to Titan swap first.

Nice! It gets expensive fast lol I pieced everything together. I bought everything off rock auto first then my axle shafts and then the coilovers and UCAs it didn’t feel so bad when I spread it out

Radflo coilovers. They are the titan swap length. Got them off nisstec.
