  • PitSnipe (Kyle): Wow, I have not heard of this issue. 15 hour job for a $50 part is nuts. Hopefully someone that knows of this issue will speak up.

  • downs44: Got an 06 that just went through SMOD. Got everything replaced. Now my low oil pressure light is flickering on after the engine warms up and the truck is at idle. Doing some digging on the forums it looks like a common problem is the rear timing cover gallery gasket leaking and causes the symptoms. Looks like a 15 hour or so repair for a $50 part. Was wondering if anyone else has had this issue and any words of advise. To save some dialogue, the oil pressure sensor is about a year old and I changed the oil and filter after i noticed the light and that did not fix the issue.

Those are some awesome pics ;D

I don't know what kind of photo filters you use, but seriously... awesome pics.

And definitely an X to behold too. The rear bumper and sliders are just going to add to its already get out of my way factor. Keep adding pics ;D

ERNurseScott - Did you get my PM yesterday?  You can find the how-to's over on the "thenewx.org" site.  The "open rear hatch from inside mod" is great for my wife and I when we go camping.  That's the only reason why I did it.  This is primarily why I have the Xterra and the mods.  My wife and I go camping starting in March and end in November every year.  Atleast twice a month if not three times.  We love to get out of the city and just relax in the woods and take my truck around the forest and site see and hopefully spot some animals :)

Thanks for the compliments however Rev and ERNurseScott.  Much more to do however.  Next will def be sliders.  In which should have been the first thing I should have done.  :P
