  • Rear Axle Seal: I am thinking working on doing a D21 Hardbody theme for my Titan.  I have already gone deep and cut three holes in my hood for the actual vents from the 87-91.  Also picked up Nissan 4X4 emblem from 86-89 Hardbodies.  Any other ideas out there on how to tie in the design elements?

Hello all,

Just dropping a line.  Picked up my new xterra today. 

Also, does anyone have a shop recommendation in or around the scottsdale area?   Got it home a couple hours ago and I am already thinking about lifts, wheels, lights, maybe some armor, etc.   How is 4wheelparts for installation?   Was considering the ARB front bumper/winch assembly.  Frankly, I doubt I have the patience to wait for shrockworks.

I hope to get it out for some play soon.  I am a newbie to the offroading stuff but I am looking forward to learning!

oh man....there are few people more clueless than me.  So lack of knowledge.....and no tools.....and no time.......and no energy.....and it would be too complicated to get everyone who has to ride with me to sign a waiver that they are taking their lives in their hands when riding in something that I have "worked on"......and I love my family and would fear for their safety.....


I could go on, but you get the point.   lol

Maybe I am alone but I would feel much safer taking it to someone who actually knows what they are doing.  It usually turns out to be better and safer in the long run.

Welcome to the club.  You could show up to mod days and learn to do everything yourself.  I have never used 4 wheel parts, but I know Alex uses them in Tucson, no idea what his screen name is.

You have a lot of mechanically inclined people in this club. I have worked at a couple shops but lost all my tools to my brother cause he needed them. But the knowledge is there and i have some random tool stuff. You can learn a lot from these guys. Check out the member coordinated events and xcursions tk meet up with other X finatics. Oh and welcome to the club.
