  • Rear Axle Seal: I am thinking working on doing a D21 Hardbody theme for my Titan.  I have already gone deep and cut three holes in my hood for the actual vents from the 87-91.  Also picked up Nissan 4X4 emblem from 86-89 Hardbodies.  Any other ideas out there on how to tie in the design elements?

headlight question

Hey everyone!
So when I was washing my X the other day, I noticed that my front headlights have a cloudy like to them, despite vigorous washing and scrubbing. I've seen a thread where someone bought new crystal clear highlights but I'd rather put that money towards a better mod! Does anyone know what has caused this? I'm a travel nurse so sometimes I'm here in Phoenix in summer all the way to being in single digit temperatures. Would that comtribute to it? The light output isn't affected...it just looks dingy!!
Any help would really help!

In most cases the plastic is just fading due to sun damage. Many headlights in AZ have this issue. You can buy headlight restoration kits almost anywhere but I have not heard of any really lasting very long. I have done the restoration for someone before and it came out looking brand new if done right but it only lasted him another 6 months until it needed it again. If you end up replacing them but want something different, this is what I did.....http://www.azxterraclub.com/forum/index.php?topic=1083.0 projector headlights. It's not really a how to cause I did it at night and pictures were hard to make clear. But there are all kinds of different aftermarket styles on ebay.

I did the headlight restoration kit too.  Turtle wax brand I believe from Autozone.  It only lasted about 6 months like 07offroadx said.  Now looking into new headlight covers or switching to projector style.

Do they have projector style headlights for first gens? I haven't seen that yet.

Retrofitting! There are some awesome HID projector retrofit tutorials out there... I'm pretty sure I even saw a YouTube tutorial for the first gen X.
