  • PitSnipe (Kyle): Wow, I have not heard of this issue. 15 hour job for a $50 part is nuts. Hopefully someone that knows of this issue will speak up.

  • downs44: Got an 06 that just went through SMOD. Got everything replaced. Now my low oil pressure light is flickering on after the engine warms up and the truck is at idle. Doing some digging on the forums it looks like a common problem is the rear timing cover gallery gasket leaking and causes the symptoms. Looks like a 15 hour or so repair for a $50 part. Was wondering if anyone else has had this issue and any words of advise. To save some dialogue, the oil pressure sensor is about a year old and I changed the oil and filter after i noticed the light and that did not fix the issue.

Hello everyone. I'm PitSnipe or Kyle if you like. Bought my X new in 2007 for my wife as her daily driver. In February 2013 we bought a new car for her and now the X is mine. I couldn't be happier. So now the journey begins.

Got stuck up near Snow Bowl last winter.

More horsepower

Got the girl dirty

Great looking truck ;D

33s and HIDs are pretty sweet. Get a lift kit and it'll be good to go for a while ;D

285s are about the biggest you can go, even with a lift, unless you are willing to do some trimming.

Unless you do a Body Lift, 285 is the biggest

You do bigger tires without a BL just trim the fenders like Hammer said.

Very stealthy, when I did it I popped out the nissan emblem to keep from painting it.  This looks good as well.

Yeah, I have a spare emblem if I choose to swap it out. Besides I'm not a fan of chrome anywhere.
