Slow n Steady X build
« on: April 24, 2013, 09:38:06 PM »
Well the day after I purchased my Xterra, I went ahead and did the RAD MOD and today we added a second transmission cooler. I am still debating whether or not to put a fan on there. So here are pics from the day I got her and I will be posting updates  ;D

I honestly just want some factory alloy wheels, it scary when they do not say how much those things weigh.

Pitsnipe: DO IT! It was inexpensive and very easy to do.

AZXterra410 : Thanks! Now I need to get up to mesa and snag those coils from you!

All I can say is I am happy I do not have to deal with an HPOP or fuel bowl anymore.. the list goes on.

34lbs same as the weight on the green pathy and it gets better mpgs than me im sure with the so called power difference with the vq40 and the 5 speed trans u would see a very negligible diff in power i dunno just my opinon

you'll have more than enough HP to pull those rims I didn't even feel it. I went from steel to SE rims and the ride was much nicer on the highway.

Since you guys are on the wheel n tires topic, thinking about picking up some stock titan wheels and tires to save my mud t's while driving in town. I'm pretty sure I have enough room to run em but not sure if it's the same lug pattern? Can pick up a set for a few hundred on craigslist. Does anyone know the pattern of a titan?

Sorry for the blur... something is up with my 28mm lens :(
Spacers came in (these won't go on until I go pick up AZXterra410's coil assemblies)

These are USA made T6061 Aluminium EBAY specials! Kind of a test run.

Oil sender switch/sensor came in too, my symptom was oil pressure on H all the time.

The Old: Same thing happened on my diesel, seals tear etc.. and oil gets to the connector end causing it to fail. This is a ROCKAUTO part, seems well built and for half the cost of the dealer.. if it fails I could buy another and still have only bought one from nissan  ;D
