  • PitSnipe (Kyle): Wow, I have not heard of this issue. 15 hour job for a $50 part is nuts. Hopefully someone that knows of this issue will speak up.

  • downs44: Got an 06 that just went through SMOD. Got everything replaced. Now my low oil pressure light is flickering on after the engine warms up and the truck is at idle. Doing some digging on the forums it looks like a common problem is the rear timing cover gallery gasket leaking and causes the symptoms. Looks like a 15 hour or so repair for a $50 part. Was wondering if anyone else has had this issue and any words of advise. To save some dialogue, the oil pressure sensor is about a year old and I changed the oil and filter after i noticed the light and that did not fix the issue.

Forgot my thread got deleted after the crash last year. I'm Rosie, I like to drive off small cliffs and burn clutches and stuff.

2003 Xterra, silver, 4WD, 5 speed manual.

Mods:

Xoskel Lightcage with 4 KC Daylighters

I have a CB radio and two skids still awaiting install. Soon.

Nothing new, but this fall I'm hoping for skids to finally be fixed and installed, sliders, DepHep rack, new front shocks.

Silver sucks, brown is a better color  ;D

Here it is! More pictures (and better ones) after I've painted it next weekend. Fog lights to be added soon, too.

Somebody I used to work with on base. He's willing to make others, but he has to have the vehicle there for the weekend. I dropped it off Saturday afternoon and it was done on Sunday evening. He lives in western Litchfield Park. If anybody's interested in work from him, lemme know. Very good price too!
