May 5 - Wickenburg area run
« on: May 01, 2013, 08:23:01 PM »
Thought I'd make a thread in case anyone else is interested, I know PitSnipe was considering going out this weekend with me.

This Sunday I'm thinking of heading out to Wickenburg to run a trail or two, probably the Box Canyon of the Hassayampa or Vulture Mountain trail (http://www.thenewx.org/forum/showthread.php?t=53013 here). If anyone else is interested post up or let me know, and by all means if anyone wants to run a different trail that's not too far from the valley I'm up for suggestions.

Start time would probably be around 0800 or 0900 on Sunday morning. It's starting to get warm out there!

As long as ya got 4WD and not terrible tires, should be good to go.

Sure. If it ends up just being us two, how about the Safeway gas station at Waddell and Litchfield. Breakfast would be nearby lol. 0830ish?

If anyone else ends up wanting to come, we can do somewhere off of Grand.

Since it was just Rosie and I we decided to try Vulture Mountain trail. Well we didn't make it very far into the trail. After crossing the river we couldn't find the wire gate. So we went and played north of Grand and 163rd Ave. Took my camera but forgot I had it.
