  • Conundrum: Wow, with all the rain I've been in as well as flooding in the X on Fat Tire, I have a new issue. Set light blinking rapidly and goes away after restarting the engine. I did a little research and I guess the cruise actuator can get nasty and seems plausible since I went through a puddle on purpose on the right hand side and that made the set light for cruise start flashing again. I'll check it out after the rain stops. lol Have fun and be safe out there everyone.

June 29th Meeting at Child's Power Plant
« on: May 11, 2013, 05:58:00 PM »
I will be planning a meeting in mid to late June.  My suggestion would be either Child's Power Plant, or Mormon Lake area.  Looking for some input on timing and see who is interested in making a trip to get out of the heat.

Child's Power Plant is here, next to a flowing river and a short hike from natural hot springs.

Edit:
We will be caravaning up Friday night, we will be meeting at Carefree and 17 McDonalds at 6:30.

The plan is to Camp out Friday and Saturday night, and head out Sunday.

I'm down for either location. Whenever should work for me too.

Do either/both places have fire restrictions?

There are currently no fire restrictions, however, still a month out and things can change quickly.

Childs is one of my favorite camping spots.  The road is a forest service road and well kept up to the last mile or so before the camp site.  It gets a little bumpy but it is easily passable with a stock 2wd x.  I was thinking either the weekend of the 15th or the 29th.

Maybe we should just change the meeting spot to remos condo in Mexico!

I also vote for the 29th though.
