Not sure for June, usually go at the end of summer.  Currently a high of 90, low of 60.  Keep in mind it is right off the water and is shaded.  Also, about a mile from the site, there is the bluest river I have seen, with lots of jump offs and a rope swing.  So we may be playing in the river all day.

Too hot to camp IMO!  This is only a day meeting though correct?

I sure hope its a camping trip.  Too far to drive for a day otherwise.  This sounds pretty good, I'll put it on the calendar.  I have been wanting to go there for a long time.

I was planning on camping.  Maybe Mormon lake area then, it will be a bit cooler there.

I'm sold with the river activities. Reminds me of my days in California. Fatter and older now so the splash should be more intense!

With any luck we might start getting a little rain towards the end of June. Our Arizona monsoon likes to start on the 4th of July around here, but you never know, we might get lucky and things could cool down a little ;D

So is this location confirmed or should we go somewhere colder?

Yes Childs sounds like a plan to me.  I will plan on heading down Friday night and set up a spot by the river.  Looking forward to this one as it is one of my favorite camping spots.

Dammit!  There is a conflicting moto trip to Cloudcroft, NM this same weekend. Dirtbike always wins so it looks like Im out for this one unless the other trip falls through.

Any details on this trip yet? I am planning to attend but work Saturday. I am going to have my X packed and leave from work. At least I'll be able to camp.
