  • PitSnipe (Kyle): Wow, I have not heard of this issue. 15 hour job for a $50 part is nuts. Hopefully someone that knows of this issue will speak up.

  • downs44: Got an 06 that just went through SMOD. Got everything replaced. Now my low oil pressure light is flickering on after the engine warms up and the truck is at idle. Doing some digging on the forums it looks like a common problem is the rear timing cover gallery gasket leaking and causes the symptoms. Looks like a 15 hour or so repair for a $50 part. Was wondering if anyone else has had this issue and any words of advise. To save some dialogue, the oil pressure sensor is about a year old and I changed the oil and filter after i noticed the light and that did not fix the issue.

Were you having problems with you a/c? Mine has been having issues for some time now and curious if you were having similar issues.

I have been having issues since i got it....
1) ac was charged and cooling ok but slowly got warm...
2)recharged and lasted for about 4 weeks but wasnt very cold... just cool
3)recharged again to find leak lasted about a week... but was more warm than cold
4)replaced high side hose, and recharged and not cold at all....
5)replacing expansion valve and praying this works.... i will update when i get the part installed and recharged and going... should be after 3 when i get the part from autozone.... so ya... i have always delt with ac issues... first time with expansion valve found out i didnt need to take the dash out.... but since it was out i cleaned everything out and rewired a few things and put it all back together and hopefully later i will have ac and can finally drive my truck with windows down... let me know in a pm if you need help with ac!

So tired of autozone... never had problems till i went to this one... i really need to find a new one to go to.... freaking ordered the part on sunday and told me it would be here today at 3 well i get a call at like 3:10 and they say its here and i drive there and they dont have it.... so i leave and i get a call from them at like 4 and again they have it and i get there and this time i got the guys name and guess what i get there and its not there...  so now they looked up the tracking number and it wont be here till tomorrow.... so i had a good argument with them...  I had plans tomorrow and i needed my truck but looks like that isnt going to happen... Hopefully your argument with them led them to realize someone as doing something wrong.

That sucks. Hopefully things turn around.  When it comes to AC usually i can find the leak in the dark with a blacklight.
