  • PitSnipe (Kyle): Wow, I have not heard of this issue. 15 hour job for a $50 part is nuts. Hopefully someone that knows of this issue will speak up.

  • downs44: Got an 06 that just went through SMOD. Got everything replaced. Now my low oil pressure light is flickering on after the engine warms up and the truck is at idle. Doing some digging on the forums it looks like a common problem is the rear timing cover gallery gasket leaking and causes the symptoms. Looks like a 15 hour or so repair for a $50 part. Was wondering if anyone else has had this issue and any words of advise. To save some dialogue, the oil pressure sensor is about a year old and I changed the oil and filter after i noticed the light and that did not fix the issue.

Ya, insurance wrote off the car as a total loss, and so my old car and the new car are gone but the dealership said they would help with doing a double rebate and letting me extend my down payment for 45 days and i could put down 1500 in the 45 days... so idk. Im going after work to talk to them.

that sucks so the ins is just paying the car off and your SOL for the down payment ( Saturn). Can't the Ins. pay the invoice and give what you traded.

Well my insurance just paid the car off and i went to the dealer and i was able to just get my old Saturn back paid for... the dealership was really cool about it cause since the ins paid off the Sentra i was able to get my ins to pay the down payment back to the dealership and i ended up with my Saturn back... so all is good for me for now and i think im just going to stick with the Saturn for a year or so and just go from there..

Loving my new tires!!! 265/70 R17 Falken Rocky Mountain
They are great they are the LT tires and handle a little more rough but it is a better tire!

Looking forward to getting a new rear bumper and getting some other parts soon...
Hopefully getting the Rear Bumper in a few months and a spare soon, and shackles to complete the lift on the truck!!!
Can not wait to get more mods on the truck....
Will post pics of the truck all dirty from the weekend later when i have a camera to take pics!
