It was great.  Raised a lot of money.  There was a scary storm that moved in on a group of riders late in the afternoon.    I had to do a little improvising to staff the lower end of the course since there was no AZXC presence.   I'm going to find an alternative next year, but if any of you wish to come and help, you are more than welcome.  It will be the first weekend in August.

Weather, wheeling, camping, and whatnot-wise, it was one of the best years. Glad to have helped USMC again with the charity, always an honor. It really is a shame this club's turnout was so weak this year, you let one guy take wind right out of the sail. Well, show goes on, maybe by next year, this ship'll right.

Everyone did the AZ Krawlers event the weekend before. Because of firefighters that were lost. No one person can the wind out of AZXC this is a great club and yes we did lose a very involved member. It Will pick it once it gets a bit cooler and everyone finishes all the vacation stuff. It will be better turn out next year. I'm glad it still was a success it's a great cause. Sorry I couldn't go I will next year for sure.
