Vince that's a great idea but I just got the registration form and i think they are grouping us up as experience. On the form skill level: Newbie,Intermediate,Advanced and Extreme. I could be Newbie or Intermediate but by no means am I advanced or Extreme. I know Sunny wanted me to join his group but I think I will slow everyone down and with that many trucks i would be shot on site.  So i hope to see you out there.

Got an email back.


"Technically the registration closes on Monday. This way I can get all the groupings sorted and email confirmations sent out.

No real specific way. Just making sure each grouping has at least a few CBs, winches, etc. Wanted to try and have different experience levels split up. If you are interested in having your club stay together, I would need all the names who have registered so I can set aside their forms and try and get you guys all together.

We are expecting to have about 50 participants.  We will most likely have 3-4 groups, first departing as early as 6am probably."

I hope I have answers your questions. If there are any other concerns, don't hesitate to ask."



Who's going to this for sure? Just Sunny, Brent and I? Do you guys wanna be put together?

Im fine with being together, Vince maybe on your registration form request 7am depart time, because we dont want to be 6am and dont want to be last either. It will be an early morning for you 2 but will be a good day.

Also write on there we want to be in the group with Chad Chaney, he is a good guy I work with and is President of Copperstate4wheelers also, would like to run and be grouped with him.

By the way, AZXC lets get more participants, where you all at? This is an awesome AZ trail!

Ted, Andrew, Avi and a lot of Newbs but not seen on the trails, wth?

Brent feared he was to green but like I told him, only way to get to know your rig and get better experience is to wheel it!

Well I would have to make a game day decision as to whether or not I go. So the whole pre-register and stuff kinda turns me off to the idea. I just cant commit 100% atm.

Ya I was a bit nevus but I have been on 5 trips with the guys from AZXC and they really really help you out. No laughing at you or calling you moron well Marcin mite but its done in a fun way. So come on guys it will be fun. Hay  if we do get a 6am start time i'll just stay in Phx Friday night.

If people are nervous about their rig, they're bypasses. Worse case scenario. You try to go up the obstacle, and if you don't feel comfortable, back down.

There are probably 4 major obstacles... I have never been on a run that takes less than half a day from start to finish.

The trail is a long one, 25-26 miles IRC (thats part reason why start times are early). But a good one, like Andrew said 4 or so major obstacles but all have bypasses and we will probably run it farely quick, the goal of AZKrawlers is to have all groups in CK by 2pm.

It will be an all day event but worth it!
