In regards to the hood wraps, the easy apply vinyl templates will cost around $90 for the 1st gen & 2nd gen Xterra. That's a regular price, and what you will see elsewhere. Easy apply is a dry application, but does require a shaded and cool hood. Not something you want to attempt to apply on a hood that's been baking in the sun.

If you see hood wraps/ blackouts that are cheaper (not including group buys), it is because it is the wet application stuff. Wet application wrap vinyl is NOT an inferior product but it does take quite a bit of patience and proper technique to get it on.

If we have enough interest I can purchase the vinyl in bulk, and give you guys a better price, but the vinyl will have to paid for up front. If there truly is enough interest, I'll create another thread just for this product. As of now, I only counted maybe 3 people interested, not including myself.

$90 I think is fair price considering the size.

Mine was $95 from vigg including shipping with a discount code I got somewhere.

I have called several places and they all tell me its a 10 minute job but because its the dry/air release version the hood would have to be very cool in order for them to do it. So as of right now my choice is to leave the car there for a day or wait until the winter :(.

I could price out the wet application too if there's interest.

It's a little crooked, but it was a test cut on a scrap vinyl, which you can't tell unless you get close.

Imacsae (screen name) had one years ago w/ Imperial emblems on the dash (between gauges) and IIRC said Star Wars Edition on the front quarters w/ an "Edition" sticker at the rear like yours. Looked factory, very cool..
I got your "Jeep thing", now it burns when I pee..

Today while washing the truck some of the paint chipped off. I have heard if the paint it too think it will not dry properly and I think that is the case.

So instead of repainting the truck how about a wrap. I am thinking about something off the wall. Not sure if any of you know of America's Mighty Warriors, I am trying to put together a veterans program that will help out veterans that suffer from PTSD, TBI and other injuries. It will be expensive but hopefully a sponsor will step forward and cover the cost of this.

Attached is the pattern I am thinking, and think the anti-glare mod would look cool too.

So Vinyltats is this something you would be interested in doing?

We don't do wraps or printing, but we do have lots of contacts who do. As far as sponsors, I know that alot of the the big wrap places would be willing, they usually either have you pay the material cost or the labor, or worst case scenario they give you a discount. I can ask around for you.

However, Vinyltats might be interested in making you decals if you would be interested in doing that.

Ask around but I am still trying to get things figured out as far as this whole program. And when I do get it up and running I definitely would be interested in stickers to hand out to the guys and at shows.
