  • Conundrum: Wow, with all the rain I've been in as well as flooding in the X on Fat Tire, I have a new issue. Set light blinking rapidly and goes away after restarting the engine. I did a little research and I guess the cruise actuator can get nasty and seems plausible since I went through a puddle on purpose on the right hand side and that made the set light for cruise start flashing again. I'll check it out after the rain stops. lol Have fun and be safe out there everyone.

We currently do not do wraps. But if you wanna buy the stuff we can have a mod day. Rolls of one color are a minimum of $500 last time I checked.

You could possibly find a site that sells hood wrap kits for $80-200. I haven't measured or know the size of the Nissan hoods but I bet you'd need a 60x60. That would on the high end price tag.

I would like a radar absorbent wrap, when you get around to it :)

Any thoughts on a upper windshield AZXC banner?  One that blocks a little bit of sun?

To be honest, in terms of wrap it might be cheaper to get a can of PlastiDip. Seriously.
For windshield visors, we could certainly do them. If you are really suggesting this, post it in the other thread.  ::)

Hey Picnhel...we met yesterday at Boulders....I have a question....
I'm getting ready to put a 40" Rigid LED Lightbar on my X. I have ofter heard of people painting their hood to help with the reflection of the lightbar so not to be blinded by glare. My thought is a removable vinyl...Hit the dunes, and remove when you head home...Any thoughts?

Can be pricey if you are removing it each time. how much area did want to cover?

Are you able to make a hood covering like Viggs makes. I have been also looking to reduce glare.

I suppose I could, I do not have a template, but I can get the supplies to do it manually. Vinyl plus wire cutting tape.

Well, I'd encourage you to do it locally. I can get any vinyl, and yes there is carbon fiber. Honestly, without the templates, it is really easy to do with a big area like that.
