  • PitSnipe (Kyle): Wow, I have not heard of this issue. 15 hour job for a $50 part is nuts. Hopefully someone that knows of this issue will speak up.

  • downs44: Got an 06 that just went through SMOD. Got everything replaced. Now my low oil pressure light is flickering on after the engine warms up and the truck is at idle. Doing some digging on the forums it looks like a common problem is the rear timing cover gallery gasket leaking and causes the symptoms. Looks like a 15 hour or so repair for a $50 part. Was wondering if anyone else has had this issue and any words of advise. To save some dialogue, the oil pressure sensor is about a year old and I changed the oil and filter after i noticed the light and that did not fix the issue.

We try to meet several times a month but that doesn't always happen during the summer because of the heat. We do mod days, trail runs, camping trips, and more.

For the stickers, you have to pay for a supporting membership (Top right of the page, click the donate button). While its not mandatory to pay to be a part of the club, its strongly encouraged so the club can pay its expenses and keep operating.

To post pictures do this:
-Upload the photo to any image hosting site. I usually use Facebook or Imgur, but lots of people use Photobucket.
-Get the URL of the image and copy it.
-Paste it in the forum like this WITHOUT the asterisk.(*):  [*img]www.url_of_your_image.com/blah_blah_blah[/img]

Sounds like Jack should be a board member :)  Welcome to the club, glad to have you.  I commit to at least one meeting every month, but you will find members posting events almost every week.  We will do a mod day once it cools down a bit, I know I have a lot of work to do on my X.

Hey Sven! I meant to message you on FB when I saw you got the Xterra but looks like you found this group pretty quick! :)
Welcome aboard! I'm bummed I missed this past weekend because I started a new job but we can make some more opportunities since there are trails up in your area nearby.
