  • PitSnipe (Kyle): Wow, I have not heard of this issue. 15 hour job for a $50 part is nuts. Hopefully someone that knows of this issue will speak up.

  • downs44: Got an 06 that just went through SMOD. Got everything replaced. Now my low oil pressure light is flickering on after the engine warms up and the truck is at idle. Doing some digging on the forums it looks like a common problem is the rear timing cover gallery gasket leaking and causes the symptoms. Looks like a 15 hour or so repair for a $50 part. Was wondering if anyone else has had this issue and any words of advise. To save some dialogue, the oil pressure sensor is about a year old and I changed the oil and filter after i noticed the light and that did not fix the issue.

Well the Xterra is now lifted in the back. Just gotta get the torsion bars torqued up. I'll post a pic later if I get back home before the sun goes down. At the moment it appears like a pretty significant lift in the back.

Seems like I got 2" but I didn't measure before hand either. I torqued the torsion a million times to get level as visibly possible and can almost wrench it a few more times I'm sure. My arms are sore from trying to get the bolts off for the spare tire hoist. I'll let it attempt to settle. I know before I touched it the left and the right were already mismatched but I never noticed it as much until the rear was lifted.

Added an AZXTERRA UV Tag to the rig! :) At nighttime, it shines up bright, when a UV or light hits it.

Before painted front on the left, and on the right after painted.

Love the AZXTERRA tag.  Any chance of getting a night picture of it?

How much did the head liner cost you to replace?

Thanks for reminding me that I need a picture. Will do tonight.

Headliner cost me a little more than I wanted because I messed up towards the back. The material I bought on sale cost me like $10 plus two cans of adhesive at $12 each.

Replace my front sway bar bracket bushings, endlinks, new rotors, pads, and calipers, and front wheel bearings. Not exactly money I wanted to spend. I would have rather spent it on upgrading my shocks, UCAs, torsion bars, and the like.

I like your rear window decal  "4WD Do not follow".   I got a hand cobra CB, but I will have get a real one. You do a very good job in hiding the cables.
