  • PitSnipe (Kyle): Wow, I have not heard of this issue. 15 hour job for a $50 part is nuts. Hopefully someone that knows of this issue will speak up.

  • downs44: Got an 06 that just went through SMOD. Got everything replaced. Now my low oil pressure light is flickering on after the engine warms up and the truck is at idle. Doing some digging on the forums it looks like a common problem is the rear timing cover gallery gasket leaking and causes the symptoms. Looks like a 15 hour or so repair for a $50 part. Was wondering if anyone else has had this issue and any words of advise. To save some dialogue, the oil pressure sensor is about a year old and I changed the oil and filter after i noticed the light and that did not fix the issue.

I saw a set for free on the new x I think a while back, or it may have been my dodge forum, shackle or d ring isolators was the verbiage I saw being thrown around.  I will check the dodge forum to see if it was there.., bumper looks good, and the color is awesome, missing the ne fall yet?

That'd be sweet! Thanks JD.  I miss the shit out of NE fall! Been seeing a lot of pictures of the trees turning already.

we are transplants from coastal NJ and this time of year is tuna, striper season for me and baking season for my wife with all of the fall fruit and produce...oh and no 90 degree days....haha.  the isolators on the dodge forum were gone and it was only one not a pair.  I will keep my eyes peeled for you.

What thickness are those recovery points? They look a bit thin to me.

ahhhhh stripers! Damn I miss salt water fishing!  Thanks JD... Those isolators are sick! might have to get those.  I am not sure on the recovery point thickness,  I will check in the morning.  I was born and raised in Kennebunk, went to high school in Portland, then went to college in NH.  Where in the great state of Maine are you from?

Decided today was a good day to take those side steps off! I must say just taking those things off makes the X look so much taller!!!!! now to sand and paint that ugly ass frame.
