Small introduction.
I have had my 02 xterra for 9+ years. Currently 153xxx miles, and runs great.  Its completely stock, and she has still taken me all over Arizona. I normally use the xterra for xploring the desert, finding ghost towns,  getting to hard to reach hikes. ect...
A couple of quick pictures from over the years.

I edited my first post. A group of pictures where mislabeled.

Thanks guys.
DUDE!! love the rig.  looks a lot like mine looked when I got it.
I noticed this when I went threw your pictures a couple of times.  I might have to copy what you did to the top interior piece to your x.  The material on mine is starting to come apart.

My X has truly been a great truck.  Besides the timing belt around 120k (which is expected), and a little work on the front diff, I havent put any unexpected money into it.
Ill share an embarrassing short story.  I just started working the Graveyard shift. I had two days off, and was heading up to Fossil Creak. I was planning on hiking the area, and truck camp at the Verde.   I wasnt used to the working hours, and fell asleep driving.  I ended up running over a concrete box, then hit and pushed a big rock. (This is when I woke up.)  I launched the truck into a tree, 12+ feet  down into a ravine. The tow bill was high, but expected.  The truck only needed an alignment and a new tire(which was under warranty) I also broke the front plastic skid guard under the truck. The truck was a tank. Very little damage.   I was very lucky that day, for myself and the dogs.

I moved the rock on the bottom left of this pick, about 18 inches.

Dogs being good, under the circumstances.

yikes, I have a winch now so you can call me and pay me whatever the tow bill was next time.  I will say working nights, everything is a bit of a risk when it comes to doing things on your first day off.  Usually if I have something planned I am unable to sleep, which results in me driving to vegas and going without sleep for 30 or so hours.  Glad everything turned out ok.

In this case the tow bill was worth it.  My X was part in a tree, only 3 wheels on the ground. My back bumber was stuck on the covert that went under the road. The 4th tire was 18inches off the ground.  I couldnt get pulled forward or backward, without doing some major damage to something. They had to lift  my X out of this ditch.

I will keep that offer in mind. I would rather pay someone in the X family, then people I dont know.

Pics from last week.
My front differential was acting up  for a couple of months, so I havent used 4 wheel drive in a while .   I had it serviced, and I wanted to take it on a test run.  North of Highway 169,   I took forest road 323 to a hike up near Cherry.  The bad part of the road was only a couple miles, but it gave me a chance to test the 4x4.  It had a lot of high clearence areas, bad ruts in the road, and a couple of low creeks to drive threw.
Inbetween the yellow dots, was the bad part of the road.

A failed attempt to take a picture at night going threw one of the larger creeks. It looked better in black and white.

The X parked at one of the trailheads, near Trendall peak, off forest road 132 NorthWest of Cherry.

An image as the sun was starting to set on Forest Road 132

I was thinking about stopping by, but I have to work 1pm-11pm on Saturday. .  I dont get much notice on where I am working, until earlier that day.(around 11am). I could be in AJ to Goodyear. If I am close to Ahwatukee, I will try to stop.
