Just ordered ShrockWorks
« on: December 04, 2013, 05:40:49 PM »
I just ordered a ShrockWorks Rock Slider and Front Bumper for my 2010 Xterra Off-Road! I was planning to do this in the first half of 2014 but I was advised that ShrockWorks usually has a long lead time for their products. So I called the order in to Mark at ShrockWorks and he told me it would be about 4-months before I received the new gear. My original plan was to order the rock slider first and then order the bumper but with such a long lead time I just bit the bullet and ordered both. I put half down ($882.50) on my Visa to secure the order and the balance will be due before shipping. I hate to wait so long, but on the bright side I have 4-months to pay off the Visa and save to pay for the other half! Then perhaps a suspension lift....

Congrats, just a heads up a lot of people on thenewx are complaining that shrock is more like 8 months lead.  Everyone is happy with the product, just don't want you to be too disappointed if it takes longer than 4, hopefully you wont have an issue.

Once the date rolls around, call Shrockworks to get an updated date.  I had to call them several times to get updated delivery dates.  Like I said before, they process their orders in batches, and then they have to send out their stuff to get powder coated (if you ordered them that way), and the power coating is also run in batches.
