Copperopolis to Bradshaw Grave to Wickenburg.
« on: December 25, 2013, 02:55:23 AM »
My first time rating a trip...
Location: NorthWest of Lake Pleasant
In dry conditions;
Rating: Lake pleasant to Copperopolis, 2.0-2.5  (My stock 02 Xterra made this trip fine in the past,) Can be heavy on pin striping.
Rating: Copperopolis to BradshawGrave 3.0 (some steep long inclines in a couple of areas, i used E locker and 4 low a couple times)
Rating: Bradshaw to Wickenburg (sourthern approach). 2.0-2.5 (Graded 90% of the way to  Wickenburg. There is a good incline as your leaving Bradshaw's Grave going toward Wickenburg.)
Vehicle Requirements: I took a stock PRO 4X, with out any issues.  Connecting Bradshaws Grave to Copperopolis, I would recommend an E locker and maybe a small lift.

My original plan was to go in through Wickenburg to Bradshaw's grave.  I found this article rating this route 3.5-4.0, so I decided to do something different.

I changed my plans to go to  Copperopolis and check out some of the other mines in the area.  After hanging out at Copperopolis for a while, we decided to go to Bradshaws grave site.

http://hikearizona.com/map.php?MY=5572&M=3  This is the  route I took.
The grey part of the route was the roughest part. Maybe a 3.0. The E-Locker and 4-low came in handy.  The red and black roads where completely graded. I dont know why the article I found,  had these roads rated so high.
