Just wondering if there are any shift kits for our slush box. I'm looking for more positive shifts right now seems a bit slushy. I just had all the fluids changed hoping that would help no luck. Also I'm getting ready to change out my timing chain and water pump any idea what the cost for this is running right now.

I think mine was about 1200 but my extended warranty covered it because I brought in the service bulletin with me about this problem. That's just for the timing chain.

what do you mean slush? is it hard to get in gear, or is your clutch weak?

one I have an A/T so nothing with the clutch. its just the shifts don't seem solid is slow shift sorry kinda hard to explain. What i'm looking for is like a the old hole shot torque coverts or a shift kit for the valve body.

Have you checked to make sure you don't have SMOD?

Really I thought they fix it by 2006. I just had the trans flush by Nissan I'm thinking I don't have SMOD.

Vince is right, you better check it, you do have the mileage on it for a SMOD victim. Do bypass asap if you dont have SMOD and add another tranny cooler.

Damn it just had it flushed didn't find anything and the guy at Nissan told me they fixed the SMOD issue in 06 or 07? We'll have one thing going for me it's still doing the same thing it did before and after the flush. Yes I will do the bypass ASAP anyone use the cooler with the fan on it. I'm also going to a double electric fan for rad. so I can get rid of that strain on motor and gain a little HP. Maybe I'll just get bigger rad at the same time.
