Knoll Lake Camping and Carousing 9/25-27
« on: September 04, 2009, 03:02:46 PM »
So I have the camping bug, and havn't been up to Knoll lake this year, so gonna change that!
Sept 25-27, dispersed camping for the masses, but the actual campground should still be open for those that need or want some facilities.
Open Invite, the more the crazier.

From 87, take FR 300 to FR 295E to Lake.

Fishing of course is encouraged and I have been swimming in that lake many times, but the fisherman get annoyed  Hey, the camp host said swimming is allowed, so I did. lol

Have this penciled in on the calendar.

I was at Bear Canyon this weekend and the weather was AWESOME!!

Explored some of the trails of FR89, came across a few elk, unfortunately the camera did not make the trip.....

I think I am going to head up there that Thurs. the 24th,  and make a 4 day camp out of it myself.
Hope to see a few of y'all up there  :)

I am going to setup camp just outside the main campground area, but will be easy to find, and I will mark the territory :)
I am heading up Thursday the 24th, and relax away in the sweet cool pines....ahhhhh

Should be heading up after work on Friday. Out at 3, on the road up there hopefully by 4:30, so it will more than likely be getting dark by the time we arrive.  Looking forward to fishing and the boy is looking forward to catching "crabby guys" aka crayfish.

I have been looking forward to this. But I haven't been feeling the best the past week ( no the the swine or the flu).  Let me see how I feel over the weekend. If I'm feelign poopie, then maybe I can ride shotgun with Wally.

Brilliant!!!

Good fun hanging out and of course the campfire stories were great.

So much fun this weekend, and the capper was the discovering of Despereaux...
