It has 108k on it. If you learn the x and all the general maintenance it'll survive. A member just hit 300k on the thenewx

Crown King was fun. Glad to see so many people showing up. I'll upload some pics tonight of recent projects but I got my 20" and 40" mounted. Will have my otrattw switches set up tonight with a fuse block as well.

Had the hubs sitting in my room for almost a month. Decided to do those today

Old Ones

New Ones

All Done

For anyone doing this. You DO NOT have to take the spindle apart from the UCA to get the hub out.

Take the tires off, 2 bolts for caliper, pull rotor off, 4 bolts for hubs. Damn wiring harness was the worst thing ever to unplug.

Also decided to do the Rear - Diff Breather Mod from Thenewx

Parts from Toyota Dealership and 12 feet of 1/4" clear tubing from ACE.

$13 Total.

Awesome mods so far man! Looks like I need to start looking to prostitution to get some things done! Haha! For your hood rod mod, did you go with McCaster Carr struts? I just switched my rear hatch over to the 175# struts & holy ish...what a difference!! I'm a travel nurse so one 13 week contract I'll be at sea level, the next I'll be at 8000 ft then back and forth. Finally got sick of the darn thing giving out & clocking me. No worries about that now! Plus now I'm set for a Gobi ladder. If you get Mc-C's, what was the size and #? Better still, do you have a link for the mod? That would be sweet. Thanks man! Are you still in Flag? My house is in Phx but I'm in Sacramento right now. Thanks again!

I moved down to Phx in October and just have been enjoying the weather. Found the link to the Hood Rod Mod. Just order what they say in the thread. They're mighty lifts.

Put new leaf spring bushings in and come to find out my shackles we resting on metal. Hence why my adjustable shackles were "pinched" in. No more problems with that with the new bushings.

I'm almost done with the Retrofit project as well. Just need a day or two off from work.

I like where this is going, did you have to stick them in the oven to take them apart?
