Timing belt

I been hearing you need to replace the belt at 100k now I just bought mine not long ago with 101k not sure if its Been replaced yet or how to know if it was but how hard is it? I never have worked on a motor like the 3.3

I replaced my gf's timing belt and while i was finishing up I found a sticker on the firewall stating it had been done 60k before.  Look for a sticker or receipt in the owners manual.  If none than I would definitely get it done.

I dont see one but when I got it I had to tune it up cause it still had the stock plugs and everything in it. So I doubt it was done. I am mechanically inclined but I just dont want to do it so guess ill have to just pay alot to have the dealer do it.

If you don't need it done right away we can do a build day and help each other out and get a bunch of stuff done. I plan to do my radiator swap in the next week or so.

Although your timing belt can definitely be done by any well trained mechanic, I am not sure it is mod day level stuff.  I have done mine and my gf's but I am not sure how I would feel with the liability of doing someone else's.  If something goes wrong, and the belt slips, or is improperly tensioned, it could cause major damage to the engine.

No worrys guy I decided im going to just wait till I can get nissan to do it for me. I dont feel like taking it on myself so hope it dont break by then.
