  • downs44: Got an 06 that just went through SMOD. Got everything replaced. Now my low oil pressure light is flickering on after the engine warms up and the truck is at idle. Doing some digging on the forums it looks like a common problem is the rear timing cover gallery gasket leaking and causes the symptoms. Looks like a 15 hour or so repair for a $50 part. Was wondering if anyone else has had this issue and any words of advise. To save some dialogue, the oil pressure sensor is about a year old and I changed the oil and filter after i noticed the light and that did not fix the issue.

Club vehicle emblem
« on: May 05, 2014, 06:31:01 AM »
Ok, so I have been discussing this a little with hammer and have thought of doing a vehicle club emblem that can be placed anywhere on our X's.  They will be made from stainless steel and I will be doing them on my machine.  Wondering how many people would be interested, also I will have the emblem design approved by hammer and any other higher ups before I will post pics here for people to look at.

Depending on the quantity might just do them for free and leave It up to hammer on possible small fee to club account for people who want them.

Prototype.  What the opinion on this ?  It's about the size of the Nissan emblem on the back hatch

If you have any suggestions don't hesitate to speak up, I'm a hard ass perfectionist and already see a couple things I would change on this piece but want to see others opinions to.

looks pretty slick to me :)  Maybe the bottom of the star cuts up too high?

Yeah, I noticed that and was thinking of maybe cutting out the THE ALL NISSAN part instead of etching it, unless you think remove it like Azfronty99 suggested ?  Was also thinking of doing some more etching in the star to make it and the name stand out a little more.

Is that a replacement for the hamburger front and rear? If so it does look very cool. Can you do some custom ones if I give the design?
