  • Conundrum: lol, they're contagious and more lights coming on, worrying to see the oil pressure indicator and also the windshield washer fluid lights, however I'll just wait and see if it goes away when things dry out. Good thing I took it through emissions this morning. Never Fails. lol

  • Conundrum: Wow, with all the rain I've been in as well as flooding in the X on Fat Tire, I have a new issue. Set light blinking rapidly and goes away after restarting the engine. I did a little research and I guess the cruise actuator can get nasty and seems plausible since I went through a puddle on purpose on the right hand side and that made the set light for cruise start flashing again. I'll check it out after the rain stops. lol Have fun and be safe out there everyone.

Installed front lift and rear shackles that I got from Duncan and Cody.  Took four hours to do the rear because I was missing the upper bolt and sleeves and didn't figure out I couldn't reuse the old bolts until I had it off the X.  Then the front was a bitch - sway bar wouldn't let go, the strut top nuts were over-torqued, and I sheared a socket taking off the lower strut nut/bolt.  I made use of the "Guaranteed Forever" promise today :)  The front only took four hours also.  Yeah, what could go wrong on a 45 minute job?

Was going to take pics as I fine tuned things today, but broke two fingers instead.  Pics will have to wait.

OUCH! Heal Quickly!

Man my List is so long on what I'm doing and I haven't posted picts in some time, but all is on hold for cooler temps or I get my butt out at the crack of dawn to work in the heat.  :o

I gave my x a quick oil change, took in a flat for a replacement (still waiting for it back), and put on the heavy duty bumper. Needs tweaking.
