  • downs44: Got an 06 that just went through SMOD. Got everything replaced. Now my low oil pressure light is flickering on after the engine warms up and the truck is at idle. Doing some digging on the forums it looks like a common problem is the rear timing cover gallery gasket leaking and causes the symptoms. Looks like a 15 hour or so repair for a $50 part. Was wondering if anyone else has had this issue and any words of advise. To save some dialogue, the oil pressure sensor is about a year old and I changed the oil and filter after i noticed the light and that did not fix the issue.

You wont need longer break lines for up to about 3, after that you will.  You may have contact without after market UCAs, but those are a fairly expensive upgrade.  I did and love um, but everyone has different goals. 

Niss tec has some very affordable UCA for about 450.00

Well seeing there is not that many Mountains in Florida and I got to have a tire that makes sense on the return trip to Arizona. I actually went with 265R70x16 D in. The difference between my E is more width. The tires look good and fit well in the wheel well. Judge for yourself!

I got wheel balance and alignment and I was really off.

There is a reason why I return to my BFG.  (265  d) We been getting a lot of heavy rain here in South Florida and I am to today in Bowling Green /Bartow Fl. Near Tampa.

Tire performed wonderful in rain and traction was perfect.  You do not realize how warn your tires really are until you do  replacement As pain full as that may be. After many hours of thought  I am glad I did not venture into 285. I spend too much time on the street and I usual do not have a problem off road.

Since I got away from my 265 E my ride and handling has improved.   Running E range was not a good choice.

I was running the back roads of nowhere last night and one of my main aux.  lights went out. This was the KX130 wattone. Do aux lighting like KC burn out more quickly with constant use?

I having my electric guy look at it on Monday.  While I at it my PIIAs are gone too.  I suspect a fuse problem?

Usually the bulbs go out, when they are on and hot and you hit a bump sometimes that's all it takes to blow the bulb.

Replaced both Narrow 130 beams. It would be my luck the other would go out next trip our! :o

I stopped by Nissan today in Coral Springs Florida. Pickup new struts so I will bump my head.   Any Pointers?


Side point I was the only 4WD drive on the lot.   Got  a lot looks from the staff.  Its was actually funny! 8)

Not just yet. I am working with Pinnacle Nissan for a , maybe and new PRO 4XP.  The other consideration is I really want to return to the Phoenix area and so does my wife. That being said we are saving our money for the return.

According  to other threads it a matter of a flat screw driver and popping a clip. We will have to see!

it takes a couple minutes to replace them. I had a free set cuz I upgraded to the mcaster carr ones. is your hatch sagging now or just want to replace?

Loosen the hood latch a little and slide It down.
