My Parts will arrive Wednesday this week and the install is scheduled for Friday. Ended up with the 5100 adjustable struts and rear shocks. My guy had a source.

The advantage is when the  front bumper and sliders are eventually installed I can adjust my suspension . I am building with the mind of improvements as we go.

White X had a problem of bottom out. I have compensated this with bump stops and now my suspension is not at maximum  extension.

Not to worry before and after pictures to follow. 8)

It has been busy but here is the results of my Black X less Tires and wheels to mention. Her is the Rough country Kit and Adjustable cam bolts. The RC Cam Bolts are to the Factory Nissan  must more solid. This Installation was behind schedule, but it enable me to snap some in progress shots.

Champion, my only resource here in south Florida Nightmare Land, got me the5100 and I do have to say Bil's  5100 are the best. My handling is even better than stock configuration.  When they were installing the stocks they used their own spring compressor tool and were very thoughtful on the installation. They used lock tight every it was needed. Nick my senior mechanic actually stopped and mentally accounted for every cotter pin.

Rear drop downs installed quickly with the rear backs shocks. The other Mechanic which wanted to be nameless, installed. A point which I did not know was the final torqueing of suspension was done with the vehicle resting on the round.   Again great care was taken in adjusting sway bars and other factory adjustments connect to the rear axle.

Again there was no comparison between OEM  Nissan Drop down to the RC.  I actually like them better than the Daystars which I had on White X.  However,  lub grease fitting on the Daystar set up.

Adrian the One of the owners is the final word. He road testes every install and my case  Black X returned to the Hunter  alignment equipment to work out the bugs.  Adrian,  detected a rubbing sound and Nick was able to isolate the area and adjusts the settings.  Champion kept me in budget and the truck handles better than stock configuration.

Champion  installed Weston Black bull Bar and 2ea.  6" Slim Line lights with a rocker  switch installed on the light side of the steering column. The Relay and fuse was put next oi the battery for east of maintains. the wire blended in as factory, which it should be.

I was looking at the various  Skid Plates and they weigh on average 42 lbs. So I am taking a different path and I have order 2 Oil Pan  Skid plates and combine them and bolting then up in the center for strength. I cam bolt them from the rear oil pan and the front of the transfers case skid plate. 

The Space under the Transmission is not big, but there is a plastic oil pan as that takes up that space. Thank God the transmission sits up into the lower frame.

Parts should be in Friday. 8)

They will overlap in the center and bolt in existing holes. I have never bottomed out or hit anything hard, but one look with plastic pans makes me shake. It will serve he purpose of weight and protection.

Yes there is much heavier skids I can pick, but one has choose where and when to add protection for our soft underbelly. 8)

Are they just trying to make more money or is this Legit? ???

Maybe both? Probably a preemptive measure to deny powertrain warranty claims.

Return of the SMOD?

Or, Nissan realized how well-used their trucks are by the enthusiast community, and now suggest more prompt maintenance to maintain healthy drivetrains.

30K seems excessive unless its eating fluid or leaking it out like a Land Rover.
Roads? Where we're going, we don't need roads.

I spoke to a objective certified advisor and he said unless there is something wrong the gyis trying to make money. But the other reason for 60 K is the viscosity of the oil that is need to protect Tranie parts.

I do not leak and the oil seems to be not contaminated at all.

Dealer  scam tactic! :(

Ghost, I don't know why you need to specify that you do not leak. 

To the question, if it is an 05-06 make sure to change the radiator early.  If not I'd do a tranny fluid drain and fill on your own at 60k, and then again at 100.  No need for a full flush, it'll take you 20 min in a driveway.

Yea, it is my goal to do better on the services.  No Leaks so far on the trans. ;D
 My fuel tank cover comes in this week

Tires are on the back burner, OFF Road,  because Mrs. Ghost needed  street Tires on the CTS Cadi. >:( Sears came thru with a sale and BFG Avengers. 8)

Funny  I always go back to BFG no matter Street or Rock! 8)
