  • AZGeorge: @Rob - I prototyped three different roof baskets.  Learned lots and scrapped them all.  Also took off the solar panel - going to mount a basket and hot water tank :)  Moving to 200 watt folding panels as I don't use them on the move anyway.

I stumble on Geocaches from time to time when I am out hiking. I ran into one this morning, and it reminded me of this thread.

I don't know that you'll be able to locate all 2.6 million. 
Sure you will.  The problem is, when you get all 2.6 million, there will be a 4 million more to find.

Another weekend in the books. Spent most of the weekend out near Whittmann. There is the TT series and the SS series that I have been picking from. 12 total found for the weekend. That's pretty low for my standards. The heat is coming on strong and I feel that the early mornings are going to be the only time I am going to go out. My daily streak is now up to 45 consecutive and I have found a total of 787 caches. Here's a couple pics from the weekend.

It doesn't take much to find them. I am sure there are some around your house.
You are always posting up on FB about nothing to do or what should you do.
This is what I do when I am bored. I look up on the internet in a certain area of the desert that I have never been. Then I go exploring. I not only go geocaching, I go exploring and check out new areas to return to.

Went out this morning before it got too hot. I focused on 203rd Ave just north of Grand Ave. This road has a bunch of SS Series caches hidden. I have been here before, but decided to get them all this time. I ended up finding all but one along this road as well as finding a geocoin in one of the caches. On the west side of the road is an abandon building that looks like it was some type of business at one time. It has a loading dock in the rear and lots of bees inside. Also found some graffiti that I love to see so much. I just appreciate the art that goes into it. 203rd Ave is pretty desolate so I grabbed a pic in the middle of the road.

So to finish up the week I have now found at least one cache 52 days in a row and my total is 805 caches found.
