I'll be at the WCM on Oct 7-9.  As long as I don't break anything, I'd be down for a run later in the month (either the 17th or 24th).

I thought the WCM starts on the 9th?

I've been wanting to go camping for about two months now.  If we get the dates narrowed down soon I'll try to take a vacation day.

I requested off the 24th and 25th.  As long as it gets approved, which it should since my boss is sitting next to me, I'll be good to go those days.  Not to jump the gun before we officially pick a weekend, but I needed to get the request in before everybody else requests off.

So, where are we going?

Your the leader on this one!
We can stay close and hit a lake. We can go up north and camp in the pines. There is Morman lake and we can camp (starchy camp?) and paddle and hike and look for caches.
Camp in Prescott forest.
Childs and Fossle Creek.
Hang on the Rim Road (FR300).
We can go east somewhere....
Hit the back roads of the Blue River Wilderness (Sunrise to Alpine to Blue?) We can hike Mt Baldy with the golden aspens and fall leaves and camp near any lake or anywhere in between. <--- pick this one.
Or if someone has an idea...

Just some ideas. Pick something and I'll make a plan from that if you like for your approval.  ;D

I'm tentatively in.  98 percent sure.  I'm down for camping wherever.  Just looking forward to hanging out with good friends!

Lol, this sounds good.  I haven't seen fall leaves in 2 years.
