Hey-hey now!!! There is no reason you can't come!!! If you dont wanna hike, then you can man the camp site. As for camping, either you sit on a camp chair all day or you sit on the couch all day. I don't see a difference other than the air will be fresh and crisp being outdoors.  ;D
Comon! We'd love to have ya!
And you don't have to stay with us the whole time, you can meet us up there or leave early, you don't even have to stay the night.

Unfortunately "Miss XCJ" wonít be joining us.  She is 4 weeks into the Police Academy, so she spends most of her weekends catching up on sleep.  I might have one or both of the dogs, though.

DZRT and I have been talking via PM and agree that more people might come along and it will be easier financially if we stay closer to home on this one.  You can probably hear a pin drop in my checking account right now.  Iím thinking either Lake Pleasant or Payson.  Does this work for everybody else?

How about one of the other lakes... Does anyone know much about Horseshoe or Bartlett? We havenít paddled them yet. Might there be any good camping 'round there?

We may be in for staying closer to Phoenix so this is penciled in on the calendar.

Couple of developed campsites, more than likely fee areas, day use fees for camping are usually $6/vehicle or should be covered if you have a Tonto Pass.  Does not appear to have dispersed camping from what i found..

Well, gosh guys, if I would have known that more people would have been interested in close trip over a far trip, I would have just made that suggestion in the first place. I'd rather camp with you all anyway. More funner. :D

Pleasant is a great place! We know Lake Pleasant pretty well and you can't really go wrong there.  Maybe that is what we should do.... We can find some more cashes, check out some more old stuff in the area and we can paddle around. My favorite type of camp spot is on the water edge so we might have to scout around a bit before everyone gets there because of the ever changing water line.

Wacha all think?
