Overnight camping requires a $10 pass or $5 just for the day. It's $2 for a boat.

If you haven't experienced it yourself, the pay station is often unoccupied.  There is a self pay option just south of the station, so you may want to bring exact change.  One time I paid in quarters because I didn't have cash ::)

I'm off Friday, so I'll try to make a quick day trip up sometime that day to scout out a good spot or two.  Keep an eye on the boards friday night to grab some coordinates and/or another map.  No promises, though; I work 7pm-7am the night before.  Also, PM me if you need my cell number.

We're like Scooter and are not familiar with this area.  Actually this will be our first trip.  If we could hook up with someone that would be great!  Thx
