Lol, maybe I'll drive up on an off day this week to scout it, make sure there is still water.

When exactly were you planning on heading up there? My wife works Friday so we would not be able to leave until later that evening.

I was going to ask the same question.  I get off work at 2pm on Friday, and was planning on driving up there then. Do a little hiking/exploring, then meet up with you guys.  I do work Saturday afternoon, so I wont be able to stay both nights.  That is if I can make it. Im about 65% sure I will be there on Friday night.
Is there a specific parking/camping spot?  I can get there early and park there to help hold a space.

If people can't caravan up there everybody usually shows up whenever they can. It's camping, there's really no set time. I'm only camping Friday, probably leaving sometime after lunch on Saturday is what usually happens. Whoever gets there first tends to find a spot big enough for the group.

I'll probably head up there mid afternoon... 3 or 4ish, not sure yet. I'm on the west side but I'm down to meet up somewhere to do the trek up there if people want.

No permits, just grab a spot.  The cabins are after the bridge, which is private land, but there are many dispersed sights prior to the bridge.  It is well wooded for shade, so bring a hammock if you have one, something to drink, and we will have a good time.  AZXC of course will provide some food, I will need to look into fire restrictions before we head up.

I was just going to ask about fire restrictions...camping with gas sucks.

It looks like it has been raining but fire restrictions are still in place.  We will have to play it by ear but I will bring a lantern and burner to cook on.  I'm ok with no fire, it will be better for star gazing anyways.

The link should be very close, hopefully we will be able to get a spot down by the water.  I will print up some AZXC signs to hang for direction.
