I am going to turn in my 07 for a New 4Xpro.    Those who own them are they worth the cost of should go back to the SE version?

It has almost everything I would consider valuable Down Hill decent and lockers.    Fair Light  Package and leather interior.

Any dislikes?

I love them i just wouldn't get the leather gets to hot in the summer. My wife has leather love it for the kid but DAMN does it get hot. The ProX only has 1 locker in the rear.

I know, she is obsessed with leather. ::)

I can get a fairly good trade in for my X and the Year end deals are coming.

The Only thing I see is a 2-3 inch lift and a good set of replacement tires.  Keep the street tires for a rainy day of course.

This would be a good start.

OK, Then explain to be me , what do you mean by 1 Locker?  I always thought that lockers locked both rear drive wheels? ??? ??? ??? ???

He means that the rear is locked, but the front is not - at least, not from the factory.  There are aftermarket options for locking the front now.

I hate the leather in my Titan Pro4X (especially now that the temps are heating up), but it's the only way I could get the factory rear locker.

The added benefit of the Pro4x Xterra (with Auto transmission) is that you'll have the same gear ratio (3.357) as the Titan Pro4x (with Auto trans), so if you ever wanted to do a Titan Swap (with the front diff), you won't automatically have to regear the rear.

I really love the '14 Pro4 Xterra. I think after years of trail and error they finally got it right. I think it may be a little over done with the nav and back up camera, but in this day those are normal options. As far as leather goes it is hot in AZ and that is tough on the body parts, but it is also comfy, easy to clean, and makes the inside smell so good.

Only thing that keeps me from buying one is that I could never wheel a brand new vehicle. $35k + for an excellent Xterra that I just couldn't get scratched up.

My opinion: buy a '12 or '13 Pro4 that has under 30k miles. Its cheaper than a new rig and will allow you to do some mods with all that left over money.

Except that Jeep has a solid front axle and it has both Front and Rear lockers.

Can You Say CarMax?   I have been very happy with New used from Car max.
