  • AZGeorge: @Rob - I prototyped three different roof baskets.  Learned lots and scrapped them all.  Also took off the solar panel - going to mount a basket and hot water tank :)  Moving to 200 watt folding panels as I don't use them on the move anyway.

Are there grills there on the campsite or do we need to bring some?

I will bring a cast iron grill and skillet, usually someone brings a grate for the fire.  I don't recall any built in grill, but there are almost 3 always 3 or 4 people that bring there own.  Usually we end up sharing, I bring a 5 lbs propane tank so everyone can use.

Avi, we will be in the same site as last time, you can't camp at the area right off the main road, they fenced it off.

As far as a trailer goes, if it doesn't have some decent ground clearence you might have an issue.  Its a little bit tight and twisty getting back to the campsite.

Is there a spot around where he could park the trailer?  It is a large area there has got to be a pull off somewhere he can park that for the weekend.

Just a little ways up the main road from where we are camping is the ATV staging area. Real wide open flat spot. Where the main campsite is actually connects to that staging area with a couple little trails.

Are we meeting down there or up in Phoenix area and then driving down there as a group?   I have never been to the area before.

I will be leaving early friday, hopefully before 10.  So if you want to follow me down you are more than welcome.  I thought a couple of guys were trying to caravan, but i think scheduling was an issue.  I will make sure to put up signs so everyone can find the place.

Quick question.  Whats the difficulty of these trails we run? I know some people in here including me who might not have a rig capable of running some of the posted trails. Just from previous pics and storys of them trails they sounded some what difficult but I could be wrong.

The hardest trail we run I have seen a stock rig get through, just ask Remo  :P  That said, for those who don't want to run that section of the trail there is a bypass that will get them back to the camp site.

My wife and daughter officially decided that they are not going to go this weekend so it will just be me.  I will be leaving work around 2pm and should get to the campsite by about 3:00 or so.  I also have another buddy who is going to come out Saturday morning.
