  • Conundrum: lol, they're contagious and more lights coming on, worrying to see the oil pressure indicator and also the windshield washer fluid lights, however I'll just wait and see if it goes away when things dry out. Good thing I took it through emissions this morning. Never Fails. lol

  • Conundrum: Wow, with all the rain I've been in as well as flooding in the X on Fat Tire, I have a new issue. Set light blinking rapidly and goes away after restarting the engine. I did a little research and I guess the cruise actuator can get nasty and seems plausible since I went through a puddle on purpose on the right hand side and that made the set light for cruise start flashing again. I'll check it out after the rain stops. lol Have fun and be safe out there everyone.

Vehicle Recovery

So I looked into a recovery thread and was shocked that I didn't find one. Here is the place to post up your recovery pics. Did you rescue someone or were you rescued? Post up here. This may be a fun thread for putting people on blast.

We have had a lot of rain the last couple of days. Now is then all of the rigs like to get dirty. So today while test driving a vehicle at work I noticed this guy screwing around in the farm field across from my work. He got it stuck good. Claimed he just wanted to get it dirty while on his lunch hour. Gave him a little tug and he was free. The front axle was buried. It felt great pulling out a Rubicon. Way to go Nissan the guy said. Now he has to live with the humility.

What sort of tow strap is that?

Its more of a rope that I had in the shop. My recovery stuff is in my garage.

At least it didn't have a metal hook on it.  Otherwise, nicely done.

Good Recovery!   Yea that could happen to any of us.

Bet you,  at that point he did not care if a Suzuki
Sumeria  pulled him out!

I saved a Rover the other day. Just ran out of gas. I pulled off the road.

Wish I had pictures.

Older Discovery , but in good condition, Would be a good build for someone!

Good pictures and that kind of mud is very deceptive. Mumk!
