Get out your beanies!!!
Christmas Tree-cutting permits go on sale Saturday Oct. 10!!!

WE HAD A BLAST LAST YEAR!!!! What a story to tell!!! You never know what you'll fine while looking for Christmas trees... (We rescued a family, for those who haven't heard the story yet).

I'd like to suggest a Tree-cutting Xcursion again for December. Last year we had 4 trucks, two permits, and one cut tree. I gave the tree to a family whose daddy just got laid off from work. The whole thing was just a whole lotta fun.

The "official" Xcursion for December has always been the XMAS lights parade of Xterras.  But tree cutting (with permits) does sound good as an unofficial December run.

Last year, I wasn't successful at finding a tree worthy of harvesting, but we had a good time out in the woods.  On the way back, many of us stopped at the brewery in Prescott for some tasty food and a beverage or two.   ;D

Ditto. Decmeber Xcursion is the Light Parade/Party/White Elephant Exchange.

And I definately think that stopping at Prescott Brewing Co. should get worked into the equation after tree cutting, that was a fun time fo' shizzle!

Forgot about that. I'll move the idea to the unoffical area.
